March 10, 2010 – 5 month anniversary

Fred and I have been married five whole months today. In that five months we have been busy remodeling and recovering. I’m ready to move forward.

I went to the doctors today. I have a slew of appointments next week for bloodwork and the like as I prepare for a new adventure in body shaping. Oh yes, I’ve gained 30 pounds back since the wedding. Good grief! Now for you thin folks that may seem like a huge amount, but really, it’s pretty typical for me to lose and gain that much in a short amount of time. It’s like my body wants it there. I’m a carb sponge. Eat a carb, it goes to the belly just like a beer drinker.

I’m going to start moving again and see if that 30 won’t fall off as easily as it came on.

I can pray for miracles and take action too, right?

aaarrrrrgggggg.

  1. Are you still going to Dr. Curry? I have an appt. with him next week. I can't do the Georgetown trip anymore. I need more available support. What is this new 6 month program you have talked about?

  2. Hi!
I have been having a big struggle and as you may have read, I've gained lots of weight! I have been seeing Dr. Brown who did the surgery since September, but am returning to Dr. Curry this week. I really like Dr. Curry's staff. I like his nutritionists and I like exercising at Fast Track. They are much more available and convenient.

The plan I am getting ready to see if I qualify for is for the use of a drug called Adipex. I have to have bloodwork and the like for it. It is an appetite suppressant. I think it will be the added boost I need to get me back on track.

After the surgery, my fills were completely removed. I'm just now getting back to where I was before the surgery. In the mean time, I've been having an eating orgie. I am one with carbs. I'm an addict.

So, now I'm going to go back to Dr. Curry and Fast Track and try to get back on track.

How are you doing???????? We need to get together just to talk. I met with a friend the other night who had the gastric. She is a tiny little thing now. Sometimes I wish I would have gone with the gastric, but it was too frightening. Oh well.

It was very nice to be with her and hear her story. She is inspirational.

How is your life? How's the romance? I can't believe Fred and I have already been married five months. It goes by fast!

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
